Happy New Year everyone. It seems like we have been dormant for a while, and we have. But, not for long! We are working with a new bass player and hope to be out playing again soon. We are also writing new material and should have some samples on the web soon. See ya soon!!!

Okay, okay. I know it's been a long time since anything has happened with the band. We have been on hiatus for a while, but it has not been by choice. I had been taking care of my father since last summer due to an illness and he just passed away this past March. It has been a very difficult time for me and my family, and music just has not been a priority during all of this. I will, however, be back with my bandmates soon. I have just need time to myself. I have really missed being out playing and seeing other bands as well. I don't want to give a specific date when we will be making a return, but I am hoping it will be mid summer. I will try to make more frequent updates to the site. Scott.....

Trykshot is reuniting with our former bass player Derek Kenison. The band is now complete again. We will be rehearsing for some upcoming shows in late December or early January. We are also one of the artists that are featured on Todd Falcon's new "No Logic" skateboarding DVD. Check it out at http://www.nologicskateboarding.com. We are honored to be a part of this DVD. Thanks Todd, and to the rest of the Falcon team. Scott.....

Wow! Has it really been eight months since I last updated this? Where does the time go? Anyhow, out with the old and in with the new. Trykshot obviously has been on a long hiatus. Too long in fact. We will be back, but with new members. This is not a bad thing, so please don't fret. A little story..... After commuting for over ten years to Beaumont Texas from Houston for band rehearsals, I decided that was long enough (one flag!) I built a studio in Houston for recording and rehearsal in late 2005. Wouldn't you think the rest of the band members could commute to Houston on occasion for rehearsal. Fuuuuuuuck No!!!!! It's too far, gas is too high, the traffic sucks, too many miles on my truck, etc, etc. Well I have just one thing to say about that: It's pathetic! If any one individual in this band has been dedicated, it has been me. Either that, or I am just plain stupid. Who else in their right fucking mind would commute over 400 miles per week to rehearse?  So, having said that, I am recruiting new band members from scratch. I thought about disbanding altogether, but I have way too much invested in this band. So, it may be a while longer before things start to happen again, but I promise you it will be worth the wait. Peace.....

Happy New Year! Well I've calmed down quite a bit from my last post  lol. This time for real, shit will be happening. I am about to reunite with Robbie and some of his current bandmates. Don't know how things will go yet, but I feel I gotta give it a shot. All I know is that its been way too long for me being away from the stage. But that' about to change. We will have our first rehearsal within two weeks. I'm excited and anxious at the same time, but it'll be cool. So, that's all for now. Be back soon....
